CENTRAL is a scientific network of five renowned Central European universities. Since January 2025 it is currently coordinated through the Charles University and offers several opportunities for researchers and staff of member universities.
CENTRAL is a vivid partnership between five renowned Central European universities, all located in the capitals of their home countries: Berlin, Budapest, Prague, Vienna, and Warsaw. Under the CENTRAL umbrella, diverse research and outreach activities take place, in all fields. Charles University, Eötvös Loránd University – ELTE (Budapest), the University of Vienna, and the University of Warsaw - we all provide a platform for scientific discussion and exchange.
