CENTRAL is a vivid partnership between five renowned Central European universities, all located in the capitals of their home countries: Berlin, Budapest, Prague, Vienna, and Warsaw. Under the CENTRAL umbrella, diverse research and outreach activities take place, in all fields. Charles University, Eötvös Loránd University – ELTE (Budapest), the University of Vienna, and the University of Warsaw, Humboldt University Berlin - we all provide a platform for scientific discussion and exchange.

The Center for Theoretical Study invited Michael Wagreich (University of Vienna, Vienna Anthropocene Network) for an online lecture entitled The Anthropocene: A Dispute in the Geosciences and Beyond.
The lecture, supported by CENTRAL Network, will be held online on 29 September 2026.
Follow one of the outputs from the successfully completed CENTRAL project titled “The Importance of Pharmacology Education in the Age of Misinformation and Disinformation,” which received funding for the 2025–2026 period.
